How to get to Sunderland Hub

  • Active & Sustainable Travel

    Active and sustainable travel means making journeys by healthier, more environmentally-friendly modes, such as walking, cycling, or public transport.

  • Walk or wheel

    The Sunderland Hub is situated 2 miles west of Sunderland City Centre (a 37 minuet walk), or is easily accessible by car from the A19 or A1(M). All Go North East buses are wheelchair accessible.

  • Train

    Sunderland train station is situated in Sunderland City Centre 2 miles from the hub (a 4 minuet drive or 37 minuet walk). Sunderland links to Durham in 20 minuets by rail, or Teeside Airport in 30 minuets.

  • Bus

    Go North East buses No.81 and 8 run from Sunderland City Centre to Waterside Business Park and costs approximately £2 per journey. Plan your journey with Go North East buses here.
