The Sustrans website has an interactive map which details where all the easiest to use cycle routes can be found. Four National Cycle Network routes end in South Shields, Routes 72, 14, Hadrian’s Cycleway and Three Rivers routes (route 14 is closest to the Tyne Dock area)

Nearest Metro Station is Tyne Dock at 103A Hudson Street, South Shields NE34 0AG, it is situated 0.3 miles/6 minutes’ walk from the Hub via the B1302 Boldon Lane and Stanley Street.

Bus
At Keppel Street, South Shields you will find the bus/Metro interchange. You can travel by Metro to the Tyne Dock station or walk 2 minutes to the bus interchange and catch the No. 50 bus. Arrive at Stanhope Road – Talbot Road (SW-bound). Walk for 4 minutes (0.2 miles) from Stanhope Road – Alnwick Road (SW Bound) to Stanley Street.
