At The Wise Group, we’re driven by a deep belief in people – their potential, their purpose, and their power to change their lives and communities for the better. We’re looking for an Operational People and Culture Business Partner to join us at the heart of that mission.
This is more than a typical generalist HR role. It’s a chance to help shape a culture where kindness, ambition, and continuous learning come together to deliver social and financial impact. As a trusted partner to leaders across the enterprise, you’ll play a central role in enabling our people to thrive — supporting growth, improving performance, and ensuring our values are lived in every interaction. We don’t just talk about values here, we really live them in everything we do.
What you’ll do
- Work closely with people leaders to co-design approaches and deliver on our people strategy in order to drive forward performance, always with a key focus on wellbeing and engagement
- Lead and advise on people-related issues including change, capability, and complex case management with kindness, compassion, confidence and pragmatism
- Champion our integrated and flexible approach to working, helping colleagues find balance and purpose in their roles
- Contribute to enterprise-wide transformation projects, ensuring our people and culture remain at the centre of our evolution
- Be a visible, emotionally intelligent role model — someone who listens well, builds trust and challenges constructively
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience as a People Advisor or Business Partner in a dynamic, values-led environment
- A strong grasp of HR best practice, coupled with commercial awareness and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders
- The ability to build inclusive, respectful relationships across teams and communities
- A solutions-focused mindset and the judgement to balance empathy with enterprise needs
- CIPD Level 3 essential. The capability to work towards CIPD Level 5 is desirable
We offer a collaborative, supportive environment where flexibility is standard — not a perk — and where your voice will shape the future. If you're passionate about people, purpose, and making a real difference every day, we’d love to hear from you.
Our colleagues are located across the UK and we operate a hub network. Travel to our hubs is integral to this role.
