Salary £29,077 + excellent benefits
Hours 35 hours per week (flexible working)

We are expanding our Home Energy Advice Team (HEAT) services and are looking for dedicated individuals to join us.
At The Wise Group, we are launching a major campaign to support households at risk of or experiencing fuel poverty. Our purpose is to make a real difference by helping tens of thousands of people escape poverty, with a strong focus on tackling fuel poverty. We provide practical support, guidance, and energy-saving tips to help families cut their energy bills, improve their homes, and achieve financial stability.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and inspire a team of Energy Mentors as they support vulnerable households across Sunderland and South Tyneside.
- Monitor the progress of the Energy Redress contract, ensuring that we maximise every opportunity to promote the work we do and reach as many customers as possible, meeting our contractual obligations.
- Work alongside our Quality Improvement and Innovation Executive checking that all our great work is recorded on our CRM.
- Identify opportunities for our Energy Mentors to learn and provide ongoing support.

What We’re Looking For:
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, with the confidence to present and engage with colleagues and partner organisations.
- A self-starter who’s comfortable working independently, using initiative and finding solutions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft programs, such as Teams, Excel and Outlook.
The successful candidate must reside within the South Tyneside or Sunderland area due to funder requirements.
