We’re preparing for an exciting new opportunity to support young people across the West of Scotland. The Wise Group has submitted a bid to deliver the DWP Jobs Guarantee across Glasgow, Renfrewshire, East Renfrewshire, Inverclyde and Argyll & Bute. If successful, we will build a new team to help young people who have experienced long-term unemployment move into real, paid work – with the personalised support, employer relationships and opportunities around them to help them sustain and progress. Because the mobilisation period following a contract decision would be short, we are beginning recruitment now, ahead of the outcome of our bid. That means we want to be completely transparent - these roles are being advertised in anticipation of a successful award. Any appointment and confirmed start date will be subject to the Wise Group securing the contract. We're looking for people who know communities, build trusted relationships, understand employers and believe employment can be transformational when the right support sits around it.
